Staff very helpful. Breakfast excellent. Especially noodle soup. Top floor bars very good.Beds a bit hard. Aircon had slight problem as it kept turning off during night but probably due to how it was setup.

Location - excellent, breakfast and cocktail - very good, the view from the top floor - wonderful, the service - couldn't be better. Stayed at another hotel nearby but Mandila is certainly better in terms of breakfast and top floor view. The rooms may not be the newest and best along the beach, but its staff and service is no doubt the best of best! Staff are very friendly, nice and caring, from reception to top floor bar which is beyond the standard you would expect even in a super luxury hotel. The last day of our stay was my father's birthday and completely to our surprise as I didn't tell anyone, a beautiful birthday cake with a hand written card was placed in his room during the one hour that we were out on the beach before checking out. This made my father and all of us very touching and happy, Couldn't express more gratitude to Mandila and to the girl on the reception desk for this.None

Staff is very polite and friendly. Convenient location close to beach and local shops and restaurants nearby.Price a bit at higher end. Check-in and -out procedures could be more efficient and faster.

Location, staff, breakfast! Location is superb, bang in middle of beautiful long stretch of beach so can take long walks both directions and only 20mins to Dragon Bridge. Lots of restaurants, mini marts and massage places around the hotel. Staff are superb - make us feel super welcome from the start and they did a beautiful job decorating our bed to congratulate us on our honeymoon coupled with an irresistibly yummy cake :) Breakfast is excellent selection from cold cuts to local and Asian hot food, pancakes, waffles you name it!The bathroom :( bathtub looks nice but not practical for taking showers... Water spill all over and end up with very wet toilet bowl and floor
