Breakfast is bad and very limited. The foods are not good in general. Moss is all over the pool wall and garbage in the bottom. NO towels at the pool. The towels in the room are so old and torn out. No mat in the bathroom (I gotta ask for it). No soundproof at all. So basically you will not be able to fall asleep until the kids next door stop screaming and their parents stop drinking The roads around the accommodation are so slippery. Terrible customer service. Very disrespectful to the guest.I booked one night at Hue Ecolodge hoping to have a pleasant comfortable relaxing after 5 days doin business in Hue. However, it eventually turned out to be the worst experience I've ever had with the hospitality industry. Upon check-in, I was requested to make full payment for my accommodation in advance. I gave my credit card to the receptionist. She made 3 transactions which were all reported to have failed. I called my bank and was informed I just made 3 successful transactions at Hue Ecolodge. I showed the receptionist the email confirmations and app codes of the transactions, the first 6 digits and last 4 digits of my credit card for the investigation then asked her to process refund to me. However, again and again, they told me they had not received the money and could not refund to me tho I had talked to my bank many times in front of the staff and my bank had explained the transactions were all succeeded, Hue Ecolodge would receive the money when its representative bank sent Citibank the journal entry requesting for these payments. Yet the staff then asked me to provide my full credit card number which I refused for security matters. I immediately was labeled as uncooperative and trying to make it hard. Their chief accountant then called to lecture me about how a human being should cooperate to solve a problem when it arises. In the end she sent me a long text concluding that I had not paid for my stay yet. To make it worse, she asked the receptionist not to let me checkout since I had not made the payment. So they didn't process checkout nor return my ID card tho I had told them I had a flight to catch. I then had to tell them they could keep all the money and my ID card, I didn't want to continue with this anymore, I gotta go to the airport. And only then did they return my ID but still no check out procedure was made. So from a victim, I became a suspect repudiation in a blink of an eye.
Beautiful design, location and fabulous food at breakfast buffet.It was 40C while we were there and neither our airconditioning or the fan in our room were working properly. Our children were in the room next door and theirs were fine. We mentioned this to staff and although they attempted to adjust the settings, nothing changed and they were not open to moving us to another room, despite the room next to our children being empty for our 2 night stay.
