Big, spacious and light private double bedroom. Air con was good. Location is great, being beach side of the bridges with both dragon bridge and the beach within 20 mins walk. Hosts were polite enough.It would have been courteous to inform us of the current construction works. We were told there were ‘renovations’ being done, however were not told it would be waking us up at 7am each morning. The rooftop was out of bounds, which we only found out by trying to go out there. Upon check in we were asked to pay 600k despite our booking being 598k; we know 2k is literally nothing but it’s the principle - we were not offered change. The bed sheets were dirty so we had to ask for them to be changed - the bathroom floor was also dirty and used body wash packets left in the shower. Hosts were polite / smiley but didn’t take much of an interest in us, we were showed to our room but no local tips/advice given nor any information about the homestay. We understand it was ‘low season’ but we felt like not much care was taken for our stay. Would not recommend at this time of year. We only came across one other guest.

It was a clean and open environment. The managers didn't speak much English but they were effective and friendly. The beds had a shelf, a locked cupboard and curtain. The room had a tall mirror and you could put your bag underneath the bed.There wasn't a place to lock your bag up. Six people shared one bathroom, which had both the sink and shower. So if you want to go to the toilet, you have to wait for someone to finish their shower, or brush their teeth, or whatever. This was actually a big deal for me because the only backup bathroom was downstairs in the main room area.

Looks brand new, lovely area on the first floor, lounge and shelves of books, nice and peaceful. Good location, 10 minute walk to beach, quiet. Host was friendly. Room was light and airy, spacious, comfy bed and good hot shower, when I remembered to switch on the hot water!The room was cleanish, the sheet was bitty but wasn't sure if this was due to the window being open near the bed. I had an ant problem in the room too.....

The room and facilities are clean. The place is like new. Overall is good.The locker on my bed had issues, so I changed to the available bed of below, but the key of that locker wasn't working. Finally, I didn't get a locker and I couldn't save my valuables. The staff didn't help to resolve the issue.

The owners were friendly and lovely! The room and bathroom was immaculately clean and I saw them clean both at least 1-2 times per day, which is more than I can say for most other hostels in SE Asia. Great location in the centre, not far from the beach- 5 minutes on a bike, so maybe 15-20 minutes walk. The beds were comfortable and clean and the rooms were really nicely decorated. The theme of the room was ocean and it just looked really nice and modern. The layout of the room was also really nice, the beds were not too cramped and there was a sofa and mirror in there which was handy. Definitely one of the best hostels I have stayed in ever.Nothing.
