The view of the beach was great from the hotel room and was the key attraction for the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Bed was a little too hard for my liking and given how much I paid relative to the market was small. The buffer selection was limited which was disappointing. Also the location was isolated relative to other places, needed transport for commercial centres.
Local style buffet breakfast, everyday same.Room is clean, upgraded ocean view room. Noisy broadcast and music is on and off from the beach from 5:30am to around 6:30am, late night as well every day. Only one English speaking staff at reception. No restaurant, room service available, only breakfast. No convinient store, cafe....
- Room with ocean view, BUT... - BF okay for room rate.- Room booked: "King Suite, 32 sq mtr". Well, simply lies. By my own measurement 22 sq mtr, and just an ordinary standard room. Tough times for hotels, granted, but no reason to sell something for what it's not. And room size was important, as we travelled on expensive race bicycles we usually keep in our room, for safety reasons. - The latter gave lots of hassles upon check-in (in spite of advance notice). A first for Vietnam as mgmt is usally cooperative in these things. Seashore mgmt however refused and wanted to keep bikes in the basement, but NOT wanting to take responsibility for them. Result: after a 6 hour bike ride with no food yet, we were having lengthy negotiations, and when finally agreed had to wait for a room, until exactly 2 pm. - Ocean view: yes... BUT in front of hotel is some sort of entertainment outlet, hence not super loud but nevertheless non-stop music and noise, 5am-10pm. If tranquility and the sound of waves is what you look for, better look elsewhere.
