Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.When I arrived the receptionist immediately told me I had arrived too early as I had stated I would be roughly arriving between 11am to 12pm. I arrived at 10:55am and she told me off for being early. She also did not welcome or acknowledge my (Vietnamese) wife. Very strange! It was also stated there would be a buffet breakfast. There was no breakfast. It was explained that because of covid it was cancelled - no problem but probably should have sent a message or email telling me before I arrived as I would have booked another hotel that did offer breakfast. The receptionist blamed the situation on booking.com and the sales manager rather than taking responsibility and admitting they (team) had not updated the situation themselves. I suspect it is not updated on purpose as once you arrive what can you do. We also misplaced our key card one night. A night receptionist said we must pay 150k for a new one but the next night another night receptionist said we must pay 300k. Maybe a mistake but seemed shady. Staff at the hotel were friendly but lacked customer service skills and understanding customers point of view. Way too relaxed and unprofessional. Location also not great. No breakfast places to eat nearby and no near by restaurants or shops. The receptionists advice order food and eat in your room.
The location is near the beach and it was easy for me to wander around. The facility in my room is kind of good and clean.I didn't get any breakfast because the restaurant was unready to serve in these days although my booking included breakfast. Moreover, the ground of the pool wasn't so clean that I can use it.
We stayed three nights at this hotel. Hotel and service alright but !!!...... there was a disco in front of the hotel (on the beach). For three nights, all night long, the music was playing non-stop. The suboofer could be heard from the closed balcony door. Forget about sleeping. It was a terrible experience. A wasted vacation. We were not well rested. The hotel staff called the police to turn the music off, but that didn't help. There were no earplugs in the hotel for all guests.
The location is at the far end of the beach close to Son Tra. It’s mostly quiet with a little construction noise. The hotel, along with all hotels in Vietnam, were closed for months so the facility was not 100% ready for customers and needs a thorough cleaning and maintenance check. The staff were helpful. The price was fair, but it seems Da Nang needs tourists so there’s plenty of competition and excellent bargains.The buffet breakfast had a small but appropriate selection of Vietnamese food. The food and drinks were not tasty, but cooked and served hot.
