A luxurious stay at Furama Resort Danang kicks off your journey to UNESCO heritage sites such as the Imperial City of Hue, a 2-hour drive from the resort. World-class amenities such as a freshwater swimming pool, spa and 4 dining options await guests at this resort. Furama Resort Danang is located in Bac My An ward. From here to Hoi An's ancient "Silk Road" trading port takes a 30-minute drive and My Son Sanctuary is less than 2 hours away. All spacious, air-conditioned rooms are elegantly designed and feature a private balcony with tropical views. It features elegant carpeting and wooden floors and a walk-in closet, spacious seating area and large marble bathroom.Furama offers luxurious spa and beauty treatments including a variety of massages and facials. Guests can relax with the steam and sauna rooms or enjoy a massage by the pool. The on-site Water Sport House offers windsurfing, sea kayaking and water skiing facilities. The resort also offers yoga and Tai Chi classes on the beach. Younger guests can enjoy the movie room and games room equipped with the Play Station 3. Café Indochine serves a range of international and Asian dishes in a French colonial setting. There is also Don Cipriani, which serves traditional Italian dishes. Hai Van Lounge is one of three bars with nightly performances by Filipino bands.
The view is lovely. The atrium when entering and the entrance out the front look very grand. The staff were very nice, kind and welcoming. Mostly the resort is a fine looking place and is safe. The food was decent. The location is near the centre of Da Nang. The resort feels slightly dated and the private beach area feels unkempt and uncared for. I know it was built 25 years ago, but just take a look next door at Pullman. That beach area is lively in the evening, kept free of litter, and always well lit. At Furama, by comparison, it felt like something neglected, like an extra part of the resort the staff and owners didn't really want you to visit, and so it was barely lit at night, and there was no entertainment nor bar on the beach. The lagoon bar inside the resort was also closed the entire time we were there. With a new coat of paint, and some entertainment on the beach (with a modern bar - think of the Sailing Club in Nha Trang) this place could be 10/10. Also, closing all food and drink services at 9pm for last orders is not really the mark of a "culinary resort".
Staff friendliness, the pools and the beach. The breakfast was good and the landscaping was beautiful. Concierge was very helpful.Limited expensive menu for lunch and dinner (due to Covid) but apparently ramping back up soon. Games room didn’t get A/C working after me mentioning twice. Should offer water to drink around the pool.
