What a great stay at the Ana Mandara. The property is a good value for the price. Rooms are a large, stylish and comfy. Daily housekeeping was great - never missed anything, was unobtrusive and rooms were very clean. The hotel restaurant was good, especially breakfast. Staff was absolutely lovely and often went out of their way to be helpful. You absolutely could not have a better group of employees and managers. The location on the beach was perfect with plenty loungers available there as well was the pool area. Every so often they have a seafood BBQ for dinner with unlimited beverages that was a great value. They have a spa and the treatments were reasonably priced and very relaxing. Hotel operates a shuttle between Hue City and the hotel [approx.. 30 minutes].Dinner and lunch in the restaurant could have been a better experience. Food timing was awkward and sometimes the wait for entrees was long. Drinks in the bar are bit on the weak side. The bed, while I found comfy, could be a bit too soft for some people. The whole property could use a bit of upgrade maintenance - nothing major just some coats of paint, fixing broken tiles, etc.. Shuttle schedule could be more convenient as it is a pretty big haul away from the city itself. I would say the biggest problem is the pricing - The hotel is an excellent value for this type of property and this level of service. Because it is priced on the lower end, it seems to attract a level of holiday maker that kind of takes the shine off an otherwise refined and lovely experience.

The peaceful scenery attract me a lot.A little bit boring in the evening because there aren’t any exciting activities

The beach was almost deserted each day and the children enjoyed playing in the waves. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and could not do enough for you. The villa we were in was spotlessly clean - staff were in several times a day to change towels and clean the floor.

We stayed in the beach villa and we thought that it was a beautiful hotel room. The property was beautiful and we were very happy to be very close to the beach.The food was some of the worst food we had an all of Vietnam. For the amount of money that they are charging, which was several times the price as you would pay on the local economy, the food was not up to the same quality as we had in any other part of the country. And while we loved the property, the food would make us not want to stay at this location again. I believe the hotel understands that it is very far away from everything else in the city so you have no choice but to eat there or at least that it’s the most convenient.

Nice location being away from the busy town of Hue but having free shuttle bus. Great to have a bicycle to borrow to cycle along the coast and beaches. Swimming pool and gardens were kept really nice and room was spotless and comfortable. Bar and restaurant were good. Would stay again. Staff were very friendly and good humoured.Bicycle was small for someone of 6 foot tall. Would be better if saddle seat post could be raised higher?
