Breakfast by the river.Shower was intermittent and more than one towel would have been goof

Not sure we would’ve found this without our prearranged pick up. It’s a little oasis accessed via an alley way of the Main Street. Situated on the banks of the river the views are lovely. The rooms are very clean with everything you need even a stocked fridge & complimentary toiletries, biscuits, tea & coffee. The hotel also provided refillable water bottles & water station. The breakfast was lovely & the staff are so friendly & accommodating. The hotel is 5 mins walk to all the bars & restaurants but tucked away from all the noise. I would definitely return without hesitation.The property arranged a private boat trip for us to see the tombs etc. We were greeted by the boat driver who led us to his boat/home where we meet his wife & child. After about 30mins his wife asked me to look at some of her goods for sale which I did & she went into a big hard sell, unpacking clothing telling me to try, it was very uncomfortable & hard to say no. She was packing things in bags for me so I decided to purchase a few items just to keep her happy & end the process. She quoted 1mill VD for a couple of pieces of clothing which I then declined. She wouldn’t let up & kept wanting me to barter. I bought a few overpriced trinkets to try to appease but she wasn’t happy & unlike the markets you can’t walk away which then made the journey very uncomfortable. We were dropped at the tomb & when we came back our boat had gone & we were shouted over by another boat. Not sure why the original boat left (maybe because I didn’t buy enough). We were then dropped at the citadel nowhere near the path so had to exit the boat and tramp through dense, unstable foot high vegetation. The hotel was great but really wish we’d opted for normal tourist boat & not an exclusive one

This property is in a great setting, tucked away near the river. Breakfast was great and the staff were amazing. You will not regret staying here.

So many great reviews over so many years cannot be wrong. I had a great time at Hue Riverside Villa. The staff are so great and friendly, giving me extra warm welcomes for Lunar New Year celebrations. The location and property were great, very convenient and beautiful. Breakfasts were great. Free bicycle hire for the day. Even got a private ride on the back of a scooter to the train station when I checked out because the taxis were all busy for Tet. Will recommend this guesthouse to anyone who visits Hue.
