Friendly and helpful staff, great location within walking distance of the Imperial Citadel, and a 5 minute walk to a huge variety of bars and restaurants. Great Banh Mi place round the corner.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean. Bed was soft. Toilet was spacious and water pressure was good enough. AC was the best, very cool.

The location was in walking distance for everything we wanted to do and there seemed to be lots of bars and restaurants around. The balcony with the deck chairs was also nice. The breakfast we had was good.This hostel is definitely one to be considered a 'party hostel'! They give out a free beer at 5 and there are lots of people in the hostels who go out! Great if this is what you want, not so great of its not! The shower in the dorm was freezing and tiny - couldn't leave your clothes in there as they would get wet and it just didn't feel very homely! I think we could have probably skipped Hue!

The free breakfast was really good (eggs or pancakes with fruit and coffee/tea).Stayed in a private room and the bathroom wasn't cleaned. There was dirt and sand all over the floor. The person checking us in didn't really seem to know much about the tours or things to do in Hue. We did get free beer for happy hour so that was nice. There seemed to be construction occurring in the rooms above us early in the morning. Also, there was no curtain on the window in the door so it was very bright in the morning.
