English of the lady at the reception is better than most vietnamiese hostels/hotels, very helpful with tips and maps on what to visit, very very friendly (more than the usual Vietnamese) and room was cleaned. Beds were also comfortable.

I’m so glad I stayed at VIỆT Hostel. The female small business owner was so warm and welcoming. She went above and beyond sharing recommendations on a map that she provided after I checked in. She made recommendations based on how long I’d be there. Her walking me through recommendations really helped to shape a wonderful time in Hue. I rated VIỆT Hostel exceptional because of the kindness and it provided what I needed. Noting this because I recognize everyone has different must haves. For me, being so close to the Imperial City and walkable from train station (20 minute walk) were my priorities. I’m glad I found a room with a hot shower and air conditioner that worked great. And really appreciate coming back to someone welcoming after days of exploring. Noting despite the name, this is more a hotel rather than a hostel. It’s all private rooms with private bathrooms. Depending on what you’re looking for, I’d recommend VIỆT Hostel and would stay there again.
