Nice rooftop pool, large rooms. Nice staff in general (but not general manager, see below).Worst stay in 2 years of regular travelling. From beginning, bad experience. Kept passports without asking on check in (which were not stored safely, just left under front desk), night staff limited knowledge of area. Not on beach, surrounding area a building site and unpleasant. Room was large, but not clean. Towels had large black marks on them. When replaced, towels were stained mildly, as were bed sheets. Hairs stuck to blanket covers. WiFi worked very poorly (intermittent signal and difficult to connect to). Balcony had not been cleaned, and had cigarette Stubbs on balcony from previous guest. Shower did not drain (fixed by staff by taking off drain grill). Safe was not screwed down, so could be lifted making it a bit pointless. Breakfast poor quality, not restocked, and room temperature (hot things not hot, cold things not cold). General manager useless, refused partial refund, using false excuses (could not refund as foreign card, can’t refund in cash as hotel policy). Staff seem too scared of general manager to call her back, meaning the junior member we were dealing with was completely unempowered. Cannot believe the good score of this hotel, and dealt with our complaint so badly. Don’t stay here!
