The pictures were made a long time ago. The hotel is ok but it needs a refurbishing. Maybe to reach the level from the pics the outside of the hotel should be cleaned.... 4 stars - hmmm. The shuttle service to the city is a good way to travel to a center. Nice city center.

Overall our stay was pleasant, with no significant problems or complaints and was reasonable value for money. We just did not feel the same warm welcome we've experienced in other similarly priced hotels, in Vietnam. We booked an executive room and our room was clean and spacious with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was large with bath and separate shower. The glass bathroom wall was novel, but there were shower curtains that could be pulled for privacy. The hotel had a rooftop pool that was small but ok and nice to swim in after being in the heat. There were only a few sun beds and deck chairs but there were outdoor dining tables where you could also sit at and order a drink. Buffet breakfast had a lot of choices and was generally ok. The location of the Romance hotel was excellent, close to restaurants, bars and shops.We thought the staff seemed generally unhappy, not the usual friendly and welcoming service we've experienced in Vietnam. The staff did their jobs well enough and were not rude, they but just did not seem happy. This appeared to be the case in most areas of the hotel from the lobby to breakfast. Also,the airconditioning in our room did not work as well as we would expect. Our room was not always cool enough despite reducing the temperature to 16.
