This was such a lovely homestay. The exterior/garden was beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting there in the evening, relax and play with the dogs (they have three dogs). Super nice and friendly staff who gave us suggestions on what to do, see and eat in Hue. They had written our name on a sign at the entrance when we arrived, which made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast menu was simple/short in options, but so good. Very quiet neighborhood. The homestay was located inside the citadel which made for a nice and peaceful walk in the area. There is a tea house just around the corner of the homestay which we went to and loved.We did struggle to find a way to get to the city centre by foot, as the closest way to get there was to walk through the narrow gates of the wall surrounding the citadel - the same gates that the motorbikes and cars are using. If you're afraid of the traffic in Vietnam like us, we'd recommend walking another route or taking a taxi to get to the city centre. Thus, the location of the homestay may be best suitable for those who actually wants to stay near the citadel, who likes a quiet neighborhood and who is okay with staying a bit far from the city centre.

Everything was nice, the staff very friendly and even though they had limited English skills, we were able to communicate (it would be easier if I spoke Vietnamese!). The breakfast was OK as well, served outside with coffee and fruits. We felt very welcome!The washroom was OK, but I did not have hot water on two nights. My wife did not have this issue, so it must have been because I took it at a busy time...

Excellent location within the Citadel and super friendly staff! Nice and clean room with a comfortable bed and a good shower with plenty of hot water. For me it was a unique experience since the area is not at all touristy. I loved the feeling of being immersed in the Vietnamese life and culture and I found the homestay very pretty...I loved it all!

It’s a lovely place to stay with a beautiful yard where you can have breakfast and chill out. The staff was really supportive and friendly, the owner Linh even gave me a small souvenir when I was checking out! The room was very cozy with everything I needed, with hot water in the shower. You can use the kitchen utensils downstairs if you want. Overall, it was a great experience, can’t recommend it more!!The pillows are a bit too hard for me, but it’s just my personal preference.
