The reason to stay here is the location. We had a Deluxe River View room. This gives great views to the Perfume River and is spacious and comfortable and worth the extra. TV has international channels. If you dont choose a river view room there are good cheaper options nearby in Hue. Breakfast is good. Tour groups do come here and it can be busy early, but the setting looks directly onto the river. We took our coffee out to the terrace outside the breakfast area - very pleasant. Staff are pleasant and helpful. They have a tour desk but there are also many agencies in Hue. Hotel is also near bars and so well located. Its about a 20 minute pleasant walk along the river to get to the Citadel and Imperial Palaces.Nothing much.

The general atmosphere of this hotel is welcoming and friendly. The staff professional, helpful and attentive. The management is the best one I've experienced in Vietnam! The interior as well as the outdoor areas are very pleasant, and the rooms comfortable; the ones facing the Perfume River have a stunning view. I very much appreciated the well equipped gym and the big, superclean swimming pool with sunbeds around; watched over by helpful staff. And not to forget: the breakfast buffet was superb! I came for 3 nights, but simply stayed on a full week; - already longing to return!Absolutely no negative comments!

Great view of the river. Great location. Staff were friendly.The hôtel itself feels a bit old. The bathroom was very dated and the shower/bath terrible. Very cheap motel feel.
