New building but still under renovation. Residence near the beach.staff do not know the basics of English - even through the translator there is a problem with understanding wach orger. the staff enter the rooms without any notice or knock. The windows are leaking, making the rooms notoriously flooded. Upon arrival it turned out that the room we booked was not available. The next day, when we were moved to a room with an ocean view, it turned out that from the balcony mainly we can see the roof of the neighboring building. What's more, a staff member told us (very inpolitely ane without explanation) to give them our passports so they can be sure that we won’t leave without paying.
The room was bigger than an average hotel room, I’d go to say it was double the size, it felt more like an apartment which was great. The rooms were extremely modern, good taste, had a massive comfy bed and was very clean. The rooftop pool was gorgeous and gets a decent amount of sun from 11:30am onwards.I did feel relatively cheated by the photos they had used online, as when making the booking I made it on the promise I would be getting a balcony with sea view. The balcony was around 3 feet deep, with no table or chairs, and the sea view and palm trees that was on the picture on the website, they were totally blocked by the building in front, the photos must of been edited to draw more attention to the property (this is the trap I fell for). The shower was very temperamental, to the point if you move the handle slightly the shower could burn your skin. We were told there was a rooftop bar and coffee lounge (also listed in the lift), but unfortunately nothing was there, it looks like it was being built. Our first day spent in Denang the heavens opened and we got soaked, this ruined our first day quite a bit as we were looking forward to going the beach. On the second day when we woke at 6:30, we could see nothing but blue skies so rushed getting ready so we can go straight to the beach and finally soak up the sun. We walked through reception to leave, only to find out the main exit door was locked (around 7:00), there was no reception staff or caretaker around, we searched every section a worker could of been in, but there was nobody to help. We waited in the reception for 30 minutes, tried ringing the numbers on the hotel card, but nobody answered. I was so angry because after the rain the day before, I just wanted a bit of sun. Obviously this is a crazy fire hazard in itself. We ended up going down into the basement, opening the garage door and ducking under the garage to get out! The location itself seems a bit out of the way, and is subject to building sites in every direction you see. It’s a real shame because the hotel has so much potential, but fell down on certain steps.
