Wide range of choice for dinner menu. Prices for dinner good by hotel standards. Staff friendly and helpful with good standard of English.Rather noisy hotel - various sources. A lot of noise from frogs in the hotel pond right throughout the night. Hard to sleep through it. Noise too from staff starting the day shift at 06:00.

Beautiful and well kept property, comfortable rooms and facilities. Very professional, attentive and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant and very good location. River view with spectacular sunset. The Residence is one of my favourite hotels in Vietnam.-

The views out of the hotel over the perfume river were absolutely stunning!!! The breakfast was plentiful and catered to all dietary requirements fantastically. I particularly enjoyed the cooked to order crepes, a real highlight. The pool was large and clean and shared the same amazing views of the river. It was also beautifully heated so you never had that slightly chilly moment as you jumped in. Our room contained everything you could ever want and really demonstrated the luxury standard this hotel holds itself to. The bed was so comfortable that it was a challenge to get up in a morning. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel car waited over three hours to pick us up after a flight delay. The reception staff organised a fantastic driver to take us to on a tour of the tombs and the housekeeping service tidied our room a number of times throughout without intruding at all. Absolutely five star!!! Would stay at this hotel every day if I could.The only negative was having to leave!!! Three nights just wasn’t enough!!!

The rooms were beautiful! The tour the hotel organized was excellent! The food absolutely wonderful and the staff very helpful, friendly !This is very Westernized hotel.. very French and English..
