Once we were given a room it was good value for money and the rooms was clean. We are from the UK so have turned the data roaming off on our phones and only have WhatsApp when we have internet. We booked this property on booking.com and had an email confirming that our stay was booked. We went to Ba Na Hills the day we were staying at the property and hadn’t bothered to connect to the WiFi as we were enjoying the attraction. When we logged into the WiFi later on in the day I received lots of massages from the property asking me to confirm what time we were getting there. I messaged to say about 8pm which they said was fine. About 30 mins later I received a message saying that they no longer had a room for us because I hadn’t text them early enough to confirm our booking (even though it was confirmed on booking.com). They then tried to sell me a room via WhatsApp for double the price, telling me it was the best room they had. That might have been so but we booked the room we did because that was what we could afford. She then said that if we didn’t want the room that was double price we would need to find somewhere else. She then proceeded to offer me a discounted rate for that room but still not the original price. Eventually she agreed that we could stay in the room for the price that was agreed on booking.com. A ploy to get more money out of people? I think quite possibly. The room was nice enough and clean when we got there but the stay was tainted by being messed around so much.
