The staff was friendly and very attentive. They have options of Soy Cappuccino for Lactose Intolerant guests. The room is relatively small but with great view of the Perfume river. I love the spa service Great location: in downtown with a supermarket and mall downstairs. The chicken i got at breakfast was uncooked,
location is 10 out of 10 other good thing is river view at night, the room clean so well. bed is super comfort pool is good but pretty crowd at 5-6pm.- Seems like bell man not stay at lobby all the time - cleaning service is quite late. we left early but when back home at 1pm, room is still cleaning
The location was excellent, the quality of the hotel very very good but for us the wonderful, friendly and helpful staff make the Meliá Vinpearl absolutely outstanding. We liked everything but I will mention that the parking area maybe should be separated from Mall with a certain area for hotel guests only
It's the tallest building in Hue and comes with a beautiful view, room was perfectly clean with modern fittings. Good location next to the roundabout in Hue which is very easy to access from anywhere in Hue.Almost everything in this hotel is first world five-star standard except some aspects of the building design. Firstly, even though the mall occupies the first few stories of the building, there seems to be no direct access from the hotel lobby to the mall - you have to exit the mall through a small side door and walk out in the sun/rain to the lobby. And there are no signs in the mall pointing to the hotel or vice versa. A pity since it is so convenient to have a mall right below your hotel. Secondly, the entrance to the underground carpark is dangerous for motorcyclists. There is a small but slightly steep incline up from the road surface to the carpark entrance, which they might have attempted to remedy by putting up a hump right next to the incline. Not a good idea because if you ride a motorcycle slowly, and try to enter the carpark directly from the road at an angle, your wheel might get stuck or slip into the gap between the hump and concrete incline. Some of my Vietnamese friends coming by motorcycle had trouble there too. Tip for other motorcycle riders: get your pillion to alight and go in at 90 degrees, perpendicular to the hump. It was a sunny day when I went but it might be more dangerous doing a maneuver like that on a rainy day when the tiles are slippery. This is a safety issue which the hotel should really fix.
