.We have been here for 2 days and on the second day the receptionist told us that we had to leave the key for the room with her and that we would get it back as soon as we were back at the hostel. We refused because we wanted to keep the key by ourselves and because we didn't have to leave the key with her the day before. We also noticed that someone has been in our room the first day in the evening (not for cleaning, they don't do that). And someone has been in our room the second day. We asked the receptionist about this and she said that she checked our room for our safety (?) and that she does this always when people leave the hotel room. Because we didn't like it that someone came in our room without our permission, we complained at the reception and they just laughed at us and told us it is the law. After our stay they just cancelled the booking so we couldn't write a review because they knew it wouldn't be a good one. After contacting booking we were able to give them a review. Also: the tap in the bathroom is leaking and making very loud noises once in a while. Just don't stay at this place! Tip: don't pay upfront (they will be asking several times, but don't!). This way you will have leverage over the hostel if they come in to your room!

The hostel is well placed, 3 km for the old citadel, in a small street (many taxis don’t accept to come inside ! They will drop you off at the street entrance. The staff is helpful and can call taxis or book tours for you. Calm area. In the lobby you have a machine with different drinks, a 1,5L bottle of water is 15 000 Dongs (very cheap !! cheaper than in supermarkets!) I was in a only females dormitory, the room has a specific entrance, you have a big room, very clean and with 12 beds. Each bed is big (one person and a half) and soft, you have a thick cover, a red curtain for your privacy, a small lamp and a plug. Installed within the bed and under it you can find many cupboards to store your belongings, one of them can be closed with a key for precious things. Next to the room you have the bathroom (only for this dormitory), clean, a good shower with hot water. On your bed you will a toothbrush, toothpaste and two smalls samples of shampoo and body soap (open it with a cissor before, don’t do like me and wait to be in shower and have difficulty opening it!). On the ground floor there is a good kitchen with all equipment to cook. For the breakfast it’s simple, and like in many hostels : tea, fruits (1 passion fruit for me), an egg with 2 toast (be careful with the red sauce on it ! I was told it was tomato sauce but it was a spicy one!), and cucumber and tomato slices. The AC may be not powerful enough for the whole room. I was next to it so it’s okey but I doubt the people at the end of the room can feel anything The staff’s english is a bit limited.Breakfast was a bit too light

We didn't expect this hostel to be as nice as it was! The room was lovely! It was extremely spacious, well designed and very clean. The location was good, it had a great bar next door and was close to a cheap bike rental place. The lady working at the hostel was friendly and polite.
