The employees were very helpful, and they always responded to our requests promptly and politely for additional services with a sincere smile.The breakfast was below expectations in terms of choice, taste, value, quality and quantity. We were expecting a family atmosphere at the Homestay, but we were simply ignored by our hosts /owner when we came across them in the reception area. We were very disappointed by the poor standards of transportation from Hue to Hoi An arranged for us by the Homestay with a local tour operator . The bus coach and pickup van from the Homestay to the coach departure point were in bad conditions, uncomfortable and dirty. The driver of the pick-up van was rude and forced all passengers to disembark with our luggage under heavy rainfall without any assistance.

Walking distance from the Citadel.The room we got is a bit far from the ones shown on the pictures. Even though I'm a dog lover, I find a bit inappropriate that so many dogs were just running around. They had 4 puppies and as it is to be expected they would just peed on the floor and as in many places we were asked to take out our shoes we felt a bit uncomfortable walking bare foot. Matresses and pillows were hard. Our room had an outside bathroom which is annoying if you have needs at night. The day we left we had an early flight and that's why the day before we left we asked if it was possible to have some coffee and bread in the morning. Apparently they forgot to pass the message cause we just left with an empty stomach.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had 2 rooms - the double in the main building was nice. We had a family room in the courtyard that was slightly more basic but ok. The staff helped my husband by calling a few places we visited after losing his mobile phone and then driving him to a coffee shop where he left it which was really appreciated.The only real issue we had was worrying about the dogs (especially worrying with our children who wanted to smooth them and one dog in particular who was a bit aggressive with the other dogs). If it wasn't for the dogs we would rate much higher and thank the staff for being so friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent near to imperial city and few minutes by car from DMZ Despite of her little english the lady from the front desk tried to help us as much as she could.Staff has a poor english which makes pretty hard to get accurate information, property is out to date and few spots was dirty. Also they have two lovely dogs at the property but apparently the owner don’t like them, every time they were yelling and disturbed by the dogs I think if you want to have dogs at your place you should treat them well.
