The setting is very pretty with lots of plants and flowers and the spacious individual bungalows. Spacious room with high ceilings nice furniture and design including nice bathroom, external (additional) shower, little patio to sit outside. The onsite restaurant is very good and the breakfast excellent quality with wide range of choices. Staff super polite and helpful, can organize excursion and transfers as well. Location peaceful away from the bustling town centre I was very happy with that.Beds are quite hard. Not particularly an issue for me but could be for others. The spa is ok not amazing.

The location on the river is nice with the attraction of being able to take a boat along the river to Hue. We travelled in the low season so the lodge was very quiet which suited us. The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous and had arranged our transport from Hue airport. Our accommodation room superb. We liked the Christmas decorations!We didn't appreciate having to pay immediately on arrival; all the other hotels we stayed in we paid on departure. The garden in front of our lodge was in a poor condition. The free shuttle bus to Hue runs only once a day from 6pm with a 9:30 pm return; our understanding prior to arrival was that the shuttle bus ran all day. Otherwise one has to pay for a taxi. It is quite a long taxi ride from Ecolodge to Hue. We had no hot water on our first night; no-one explained that we had to turn the geysers on! We didn't appreciate being charged for a bottle of water when we left; all other hotels provided this FOC

Great place, great pool, great breakfast, very nice people. Perfect for families.
