The staff was amazing, they were very helpful and provided me with all the information I needed. What's more they spoke very good English, organized a free local tour (on some days of the week) and family dinners. The hostel was cheap and had a very chilled vibe. Definitely recommended!It was a bit humid in the room but I guess you cannot really avoid it in Hue.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Mainly because the staff is so friendly and the hostel has a laid back sociable feel. But the location is also amazing being just around the corner from the beer corner street. And if up for a bit of a longer walk, it's walking distance to the imperial city. The family dinners each night and language classes made it extremely easy to meet new people at the hostel. + when booked my bus to Hoi an, It was at a cheap price. Even after I left Hue I kept bumping into people I meet while staying at the hostel. I would totally go back and stay again at Freedom hostel if I return to Hue. Can not praise them enough! ~ <3.NOTHING!! :D everything was great. Was some construction work but can't blame the hostel for that. ^_^

Great staff, good wifi, hot showers all day, free breakfast (different day by day, but always filling), towel provided, top bunks had curtains, good free activities (Vietnamese lesson, student motorbike tour), good location near tourist restaurants and bar central, cute puppy lives there :).Beds were very hard. AC in the room kept cutting in and out so the temperature would be very hot or very cold. Small lockers
