The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. The location is great. We walked to the Citadel and it’s only a few minutes to food streets. Breakfast is fantastic! Great value for what you pay.The bed is very hard but this seems to be standard across Asia. The shower went cold on our last night and didn’t get hot again but we didn’t bother saying anything because it was hot anyway :) Laundry service very expensive - 440k dong for maybe 3kg of clothes. We should have checked the price before organising housekeeping.
Location central, sparkling clean, extremely friendly and helpful personnel. Excellent and vast breakfast- the biggest I have ever seen. Vietnam is absolutely worthwhile in every sense. Taxi service to train stations cheap and reliable. Cherish hotel very near to the most fantastic local shops.Could maybe invest in some blockout curtains.
I like the balcony overlooking the street and an elementary school and when you shut the door, everything was quiet. Room is in good condition and everything works. Large fluffy bath towels are great. Location is good, about 15 minutes on foot from Truong Tien Bridge, 30 minutes from Hue Imperial Citadel but only a few minutes from the night pedestrian street with music and food (Pho Tay). Street food is cheap and delicious everywhere you walk. And beer is really really cheap to our surprise, even compared to other places in Vietnam. Staff is nice. We didn't have any issues that need their attention because everything worked. I think they speak English well. I spoke Vietnamese to them most of the time though. There's a wide variety of food at breakfast (Western, local favorites, fresh fruits, sweets, noodle and egg station ...), which is typical for a hotel of this size in Vietnam. However, the food tends to be the same day after day so you'll be a little tired after a while. We got a good deal because it's the low season (late November) but it rained a lot when we were there. Late November and December means a lot of rain but you get really cool weather. No sweating while walking outside. The hotel staff was happy to lend us large and sturdy umbrellas so we wouldn't get wet. Taxi ride from Hue Airport costs a little over 200,000 VND or about 10 USD for a 7 seater so it's not too bad.
