The room is large and comfortable. Staffs are so nice and helpful. They let me checked in early and checked out 1 hour late without charges.

Best hotel I ever stay. This is my second time here and feel like home.

All was great until the end.The staff were completely useless, we couldn’t communicate at all. Also, when we went to check out before an early morning flight we found a sign at reception saying that they had decided to close for the night. This was despite us being informed that reception was open 24hrs. The staff had my partners passport and we had to hunt around behind the desk to find it. Luckily it was not locked away, though I suppose it really should have been! In addition, we nearly lost my passport after the maid tidied it away underneath a basket in the room, why!?!? All of this meant we nearly missed our flight and nearly went to the embassy thinking we were missing a passport. The hotel did nothing to compensate us for this awful experience. Don’t bother booking, it’s not worth the stress.

Good location.Staying at Salamander was not a good experience. We had unpleasant stay and encountered a lot of problems during 2 Days of staying. Here are the problems we encountered: - despite being advertised that the hotel offers bikes, there were no bikes. The reasons we were given: the bikes were all rented out or defective. During my stay, I saw only a few customers, so I don’t buy the reason that they ran out bikes. After talking to the receptionist and expressing my disappointment, they quickly said that the bikes were now available. 😦 - no breakfast offered. The reason that was given: kitchen is not working. If this was the case, the hotel should have informed us before we booked. I would have chosen a different hotel as there are plently of hotels in the area. - the receptionist was totally lost, she swiped my card 6 times, charging me 6 times in total, and then the manager had to come and perform the refund of 5 times. I almost miss my bus because of waiting for them to figure out. If I didn’t check my bank account and show them right there and then that they charged me 6 times, it would have taken me a lottt more time and effort to get the refund. - the receptionist kept my national ID card and forgot to give it back to me. I encountered problems at the airport in Hue and almost could not board the plane! Luckily, I flew with the same airline, and had pictures of my National ID card as well as my passport, so the airport security agent has made an exception and allow me to board the plane. My family and I spent extra time and efforts trying to navigate the situation and it was very stressful. - despite forgetting to give me my national ID back, the hotel did not immediately send me the ID to my address, and they charged me for the shipping fees! I have no other words Lol. Avoid this hotel if you want a pleasant stay in Danang!!!!
