Very average experience with poor AC and charging for airport shuttle disappointing.

Location was ok and the room was good size. Staff was very friendly. The AC was underpowered for the room. Big problem is a hot place like Da Nang! Breakfast buffet was ok but nothing special. They wanted 250,000 VTD for airport shuttle ride! (1) Other hotels offer for free as guest service (2) Taxi is only 100,000 VTD

Not a great hotel experience...

The breakfast was pretty good (aside from smoking being permitted in the breakfast area), and breakfast waitress Phong was absolutely lovely - so friendly and always cheerful. She would have been much better working on the reception desk than the staff that were there.Front of House staff weren't particularly friendly or good. They didn't speak great English either - which is fine as we're in Vietnam, but they're marketing themselves as an international hotel, and trying to get simple hotel-related requests over is difficult. There are much, much better hotels in the same area and price range. Smoking is permitted in the breakfast room - people stand by the ashtrays outside the lifts and smoke while you're eating. Smoking is also permitted in the hallways where the bedrooms are, so it comes under the door into your room. The hallways can be quite noisy as the doors to the stairwells seem to be kept open (if you shut them, someone seems to come along and re-open them... not sure how fire safe this is...??). The electronic safe in our room did not work and we had to be provided with a manual key - not sure if the hotel also has a copy of this key, but either way, it wasn't ideal (having to carry the key with us), but better than carrying our valuables with us. There is also (as at June 2019) construction work happening on 3 sides of the hotel. It starts at 7am, even on Sundays. We were on the second-from-top floor, and it still woke us up every morning. The taxi arranged by the hotel was over an hour late picking myself and my 3 year old son up from the airport (they didn't get in touch to tell me, I had to chase them up to find out where the driver was as my son and I were just left there waiting in the 36 degree heat). They eventually offered me a 20% discount (after I balked at 10%), but had the cheek to tell me a direct lie that the driver had been 'stuck in traffic' (the hotel was only a 12 minute drive from the airport when the driver finally arrived). We booked all other transport and tours through another local hotel, which was excellent (Sofia Suite).

Don't stay here

The room was quite comfortable. The hotel is close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The young man who carried my bags for me was lovely. It is close to everything, but there's construction work going on all around it so it's very noisy all the time. I have never given hotel staff a low score before, but the staff at this place were rude and incompetent. Nick at reception made a complete mess of my check-in. Then he made a huge mistake with the amount he charged me. He eventually half-heartedly apologised but most of the time he seemed to think it was funny. Nhu's attitude was not very good either. The staff at breakfast were constantly yelling at each other across the room; At 9.15, one of the girls told me I had to go because they would finish breakfast service at 9.30. She was so desperate to get rid of me she even stood beside me waiting for me to finish, walked to the lift with me and pressed the lift button.

Good

Modern feel, 24 hour reception was useful for our 3am departure. Located close to beach and all touristy places to eat.Breakfast range was large but lacking in good quality food (they didn’t replenish fruit as it was consumed). The bed was firm and the sound echoes along the corridor.

Pleasant

Location is very good. Some of staffs are very nice.Very noisy. I was so very hard to sleep coz the kids and the people stay next my room. They are talked very loud . A lots of trash of customers live there coz they bring a lot food to the rooms.
