The breakfast was pretty good, although I’ve heard that the coffee in Vietnam is wonderful, but sadly the DLG didn’t get the memo. Right across the road from the beach and as we had an executive suite, we had a panoramic view across all the rooms with 180 degree view of the bay. The draft beer was as good as anything you’ll find in Germany, and cost about $2 AUD, awesome! The supplied afternoon tea was a nice little surprise each day and came with a vast assortment of cakes, fruit and sandwiches he’s with a choice of Tea or Coffee. (See below on coffee).The restaurant food was on par with the breakfast coffee. Apparently word is out because we ate there 3 nights, took our time, and we the only people in the place each evening. I’m fact we never saw another soul in there for our entire stay. The Australian Sirloin steak, at $20 AUD was good exercise for the jaw muscles. A tiny piece of meat, probably started at sub 200 gms, by the time they had stewed it, then grilled it to a well done leather, it was de pie of moisture and flavour and weighed about 120 gms. Do not, under any circumstances, order an espresso coffee! I’m not sure how she managed to infuse charcoal into the but somehow she did. It was like putting a burnt stick into my mouth.
