Great hostel , great staff , great location Worth the money!!

- clean room - very spacious - big bed, well made - very near main area where people go to eat / drink but not actually in it (arguably a benefit, as it’s quiet but conveniently close).All minor points: - the pictures suggested some sort of social scene in the evening - but this was non existent, nothing in place to make it happen - poor English from some staff (when I asked about whether they had a happy hour or something similar where people tend to come to the bar/reception/seating area, they thought I was asking if I could bring friends and have a party there) - a lot of hostels around here use the room key to turn on the energy, but whilst one or two others use a spare key in the slot so that this isn’t required, here (as in many places in fairness) they did not - this isn’t a big deal but is less convenient if you need to charge your phone to navigate the city and want to run for lunch locally while you wait, plus the joy of waiting for the aircon to kick in - private room was actually a converted dorm, meaning 3 showers in the bathroom. No real objection but the larger bathroom had a few mosquitos and it’s overall less homely than a true private room

The staff was really friendly and helpful with recommendations, buses booking, etc. The hostel is also quite clean and in a good location.

Central and good value.Breakfast and the coffee could be a lot better
