Large room, nice balcony, friendly staff and owner accommodating. Good location but a bit noisy. Check in and out easy, breakfast was good and nice options. Staff spoke good English and helped arrange tours.Location on fairly busy street was a little noisy but good for watching local life. Noise wasn’t bad with balcony door closed. Air conditioner worked to cool room, but leaked on the floor. Owner looked at it, offered us another room, but we stayed as they brought us a fan, luckily it wasn’t too hot. Wardrobe did not have a way to hang clothes, rod was broken.

.The staff was so so helpful. We were there while they did the goodbye to the old year ceremony and they sat with us to explain everything. They also helped us with getting to the next stop on our trip. 🙃🙃

The staff was informative and friendly, the private room was HUGE, and they provided extra towels and blankets. It was close to popular local street food stalls.Not a social hostel, if you’re looking for that. Far from imperial city (20min walk) and backpacking area (10min walk). Also, the doors/walls are thin, it’s a little noisy

Great family-run place to stay! Room was large and clean, bed comfortable, good air-con/wifi/fridge, and filtered water so you don't have to buy plastic bottles. The staff was super friendly. The area is perfect, walk to everything: river, restaurants, shops, atms, bars, etc. We got invited to join the Lunar New Year celebration with the whole family and staff, and had amazing food and conversations! The value for what you get can't be beat. Would stay again!Only thing, it is located next to a fire station so bring airplugs! Can be pretty loud when the sirens go off at anytime of the day/night.

The room was a private room on 3rd floor. It was very good, the only drawback was that there was no window to the outside but only to the corridor, so it was difficult to circulate the air and it became hot quite fast. But the laundry I gave was done efficiently and the staff was awesome, kind and accomodating. For example they allowed me to check in early, since the room was vacant. I had a great overall experience with Baloo. Location was very good too.
